Richard Sones, PhD

Chief Technical Officer

Rich has more than 30 years experience in digital imaging technology, including medical imaging (digital radiography, CT, MRI), color science and industrial inspection. He has designed illumination and optical systems for demanding machine vision applications, and has developed algorithms for a new generation of intelligent machine vision processors. Rich has a broad background in mathematics, image processing and optics. Rich has been issued more than twenty patents, and holds a Doctorate in Physics from Case Western Reserve University.
